We have an e-mail newsletter package that we have developed, that can help you communicate effectively with your clients, developing a 2-way information stream that will allow you to be more responsive to your customers and track accurately what your customers interests are.

 

We will develop an article library on your website. This article library is divided into categories that represent the different areas of interest that your website visitors might have regarding your products, services, industry, events, etc.

 

Once you provide copy for these articles, we assign them categories and designate two or three of those as articles of the month.

 

Then, using ConstantContact, we develop your e-mail newsletter. It will be designed to fit your branding and website look. It will have some introductory copy on it plus the initial paragraphs for the articles in your library. The concept is to keep it brief so that your clients will not think of it as an intrusion, and taking up too much of their time.

 

Your content offers them valuable information that they would need.

 

First paragraph of the articles on the website becomes the teaser that brings them in. E-mail newsletter goes out with 3 articles…each article being no more than a sentence or 2 long with a read more link going back to your website. This draws them back to your website for articles that they have an interest in.

 

If they don’t have an interest in the 3 articles, they’ll simply delete your e-mail and move on. If something you say sparks their interest they can click through and read entire article. Once back at your website- they will have opportunity to explore other article that might be of similar interest in your article library…as well as review other parts of your website where they could learn more about your services.

 

Really interesting part of this is the recording feature though ConstantContact- not only can you find out how many people clicked on a particular article & see its popularity, you could see specifically which e-mail addresses clicked on what article- then be able to break those people into special interest group-send them a follow up e-mail- maybe with an offer for discount on your services that relates to the article.

 

This is a very effective way of cross selling to your market and getting a response. It is a very effective tool for staying in front of yuour client base. It keeps communication lines open between you, your current clients and prospects, and between you and your website visitors…
